DESCRIPTION:The Eastern Amputee Golf Association (EAGA) was formed by Bob Buck\, retired National Amputee Golf Association’s Eastern Trustee\, and others who were interested in developing a regional amputee golf association. \n\n\n\nThe EAGA was formed along the same guidelines as that of the National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA) but has its own Officers\, Constitution\, Bylaws\, and Membership Dues. EAGA’s prime purpose is to organize and conduct amputee golfing events and “Learn to Golf” clinics for any physically challenged individual\, provide communication between its members and act as a bridge between its members and the National Association. \n\n\n\nThe EAGA also assists NAGA in conducting the “First Swing” seminars for rehabilitation\, parks and recreation\, and golf professionals. \n\n\n\nThe EAGA conducts two-day golf tournaments and one-day outings and scrambles\, plus its annual three-day major event – Eastern Regional Amputee Golf Championship. It also conducts NAGA “First Swing” Seminars & “Learn to Golf” clinics in our East Region. The EAGA hopes to attract more amputees to experience the fun and excitement of this wonderful game. Maine Adaptive staff and volunteers provide the highest quality equipment and lessons for skiing or snowboarding including everything the camper will need. Family members can rent their own equipment from Sunday River and purchase a lift ticket. Come try a new sport or build upon your skills from previous sNOw Limits! Additional activities include snow tubing\, and a fun night with dinner and games with our friends from Maine Adaptive. \n\n\n\nRequirements for attendance\n\n\n\nComplete all Maine Adaptive’s required paperwork including; application\, physician statement and release form – this needs to be completed by the camper prior to the start of camp.
