DESCRIPTION:Camp sNOw Limits takes place at Sunday River. Maine Adaptive staff and volunteers provide the highest quality equipment and lessons for skiing or snowboarding including everything the camper will need. Family members can rent their own equipment from Sunday River and purchase a lift ticket. Come try a new sport or build upon your skills from previous sNOw Limits! Additional activities include snow tubing\, and a fun night with dinner and games with our friends from Maine Adaptive. \n\n\nCamp Details\n\n\n\n\nLocation: Newry\, Maine \nHost Facility: Maine Adaptive at Sunday River \nEligibility: Children with limb loss or limb difference and their families \nCamp Date: March 9-12\, 2023 \nProgram Partner: Camp No Limits partners with Maine Adaptive for sNOw Limits. Maine Adaptive provides\, at no cost to individuals with limb loss or limb difference; lift tickets\, adaptive skiing or snowboarding equipment\, outdoor wear\, and trained volunteer instructors who provide high quality lessons. \n\n\n\n\nLodging: Families are responsible for their own hotel room. \nMeals: All meals are provided on-site. \n\n\n\n\nCost: The true cost of Camp No Limits is $1000 per person. Thanks to generous donations\, and fundraising efforts\, we’re able to significantly offset costs to offer camp to our families at $500 per person. Additional scholarships are available. \nTransportation: Families are responsible for transportation to and from camp. \nSuggested airports: \n\nPortland International Jetport – 81 miles to camp\nBangor International Airport –  70 miles to camp\nBoston Logan International Jetport –  182 miles to camp\nManchester-Boston Regional Airport – 175 miles to camp\n\n\n\nRequirements for attendance: Complete all Maine Adaptive’s required paperwork including; application\, physician statement and release form – this needs to be completed by the camper prior to the start of camp.
